Typical fees (transparent)

  • Security deposit: RM 300–800 (pre-authorisation on card), released after return.
  • Late return: Charged per hour or full day at published daily rate.
  • Fuel: Return with same level as pickup; refuelling service available.
  • Cross-border: Vehicles may not leave Langkawi — ferries excluded.

Driver requirements & documents

You must have:

  • Valid driving licence held for at least 1 year (English or certified translation)
  • Passport or Malaysian NRIC for identity check
  • Credit or debit card for security deposit (some categories)
  • Minimum age 23 for economy / MPV; 25 for luxury (exceptions by approval)

Airport pickup (LGK):

Our representative meets you in arrivals with a sign — include flight number and ETA when you book so we can track delays. After hours pickups may incur a small fee (shown before confirmation).

Frequently asked questions

You can pay a booking deposit online to hold your vehicle. The remaining balance and deposit pre-authorisation are usually completed at pickup by card or cash. Invoice by email is provided.
Basic statutory coverage is included. Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) with reduced excess is optional and recommended; our staff explains costs at pickup before you sign.
If you provided your flight number, we monitor arrivals and hold your booking during normal delay windows. Call or WhatsApp us if you miss the desk — we will re-schedule pickup where possible.
Free date changes up to 24 hours before pickup subject to vehicle availability. Cancellations: full refund of deposit if cancelled 48+ hours before; within 48 hours fees may apply as per terms.
Yes — Pantai Cenang, Pantai Tengah, Kuah, and most resorts. Enter your hotel name as pickup location; surcharges for remote areas are quoted before you confirm.
Most of our fleet is automatic. Request manual transmission in the notes when you complete booking — we will confirm availability.
International Driving Permit (IDP) is recommended if your licence is not in English or Roman script. Malaysian licences are accepted as per JPJ rules.
